Shalom all,
Cantor Levine is a blessing in our Brith Shalom community. When he arrived 10 years ago, we knew that our community would be blessed with an expert Jewish educator. Since then, the blessings have multiplied exponentially. We now also know about his true mastery of professional skills, the intensity of his passion, and the depth of his commitment. As a community, we have presented Cantor Levine with many new challenges over the years. He has graciously accepted each challenge and risen to greet them all with great enthusiasm and diligence.
Here’s how everyone in the congregation can celebrate:
Shabbat Morning Anniversary Celebration Service, February 9th
On Shabbat morning, February 9th, come celebrate Cantor Levine’s 10th anniversary at Brith Shalom, together with Andy Hoffman’s 50th anniversary of his bar mitzvah. They are sharing the Shabbat morning service with respect for their long-time friendship and in recognition of their shared passion for celebrating lifecycle moments in the Shabbat morning community. Consider co-sponsoring the Kiddush ($180) or making a donation in any amount to the Kiddush Fund, click here for more information or call Sean at 713-667-9201.
Fundraising Gala, Saturday night, February 9th
On Saturday night, February 9th, join us for an elegant and joyful fundraising gala. We will honor Cantor Levine as we financially support the synagogue’s efforts on our mission to nurture every member’s Jewish journey. Click here for more information.
I am personally deeply grateful for Cantor Levine’s partnership as clergy, synagogue leader, counselor, and friend. He truly is a man of many hats! Let’s pause to reflect and express our gratitude for the blessing we have in Cantor Levine.
Blessings,
Rabbi Teller
