CBS Choir September 2019
"And Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the Lord." (Exodus 15:1)
Congregation Brith Shalom is proud to benefit from the passion and dedication of its Choir – the oldest all-volunteer synagogue choir in the United States.
From Judaism's earliest history and throughout the ages, music and song have been means of expressing prayer and joyous reverence. This tradition of using music and song to express our prayers continues today at Brith Shalom through the congregation’s adult choir, which has long been a part of the life of this synagogue, bringing beauty and joy to our services. The combined voices of these talented volunteers have added meaning and spirituality to our prayers through the years.
Congregation Brith Shalom utilizes its Choir during High Holy Days services, and other special events and services throughout the year.
For more information on joining the Choir, please contact Hazzan David Krohn at 757-536-7464 or dkrohn@brithshalom.org.
