Tisha B'Av commemorates the destruction of both the First and Second Temples in Jerusalem (586 BCE and 70 CE respectively. On Tisha B’Av, Eicha (the Book of Lamentations) is chanted with a unique trope, a system of mournful biblical notes.
In 2022, Tisha b'Av begins at sunset on Saturday, August 6th.
Both services to be held in person in the chapel.
