Hazak presents a guest speaker in June. Roger Weiss will be presenting Jews in Space at a Hazak event at 2:00 pm on June 22, 2025.

Learn about the heroic Jewish men and women who have played a significant part in exploring space and recognized their Judaism in unique ways. Roger’s uplifting talk on Jews in space appeals to audiences of all ages.

About Roger Weiss
Roger Weiss has been a NASA contractor since 1988, having spent 12 years in suburban hometown Chicago, then transferring to Houston, where he has proudly been working in the International Space Station’s (ISS) Research Integration and Program Research offices at NASA/Johnson Space Center since 2000.

He conducts frequent outreach to educate and communicate to the public about NASA’s amazing space programs, mainly the space station and its research benefits for humanity.

Roger’s everlasting passion and enthusiasm for all things space allow him to engage, educate, make aware, and inspire people of all ages about NASA, its illustrious programs, accomplishments, and achievements during professional and voluntary public outreach efforts at myriad venues throughout the country.

Hazak features programming for adults 55 and over. All are welcome.

Most Hazak programs are $8.00 for Brith Shalom congregation members and $10.00 for non-members.
