The Men’s Club wants to improve on our already great chili, in preparation to WIN this year’s Kosher Chili Cookoff. The only ingredient we need is… YOU!
 
We have a great chili recipe. The challenge is that we only get to prepare it once a year, so it’s hard to know how we can improve it. We are therefore going to stage a trial run here at CBS on December 8th.
 
We are going to replicate the same conditions we experience at the actual Cookoff: we’ll start at about the same time, use the same ingredients (including 30 lbs of kosher ground beef) and the same types of prep tools and equipment.
 
At 11:45 AM, we will start handing out samples to all comers. And we want your feedback! How do you like it? Do you like the blend of ingredients? Is it too spicy, not spicy enough, does it need more salt, less salt, more cumin, less onion…let us know your secrets for making a great chili! We will use your feedback to fine-tune our recipe.
 
We will also have pints of chili for sale - stock up for future use! It freezes well.
