On March 18th, the Board of Trustees of Congregation Brith Shalom voted unanimously to approve amendments the Constitution of the Congregation, as presented by an appointed Constitutional Revision Committee.

Per the Constitution, President Rhoda Goldberg hereby announces a Special Meeting of the Congregation, to be held (via Zoom) on April 7th, in order for the Congregation to vote on the proposed amendments.

Additionally, a “town hall” meeting of the Congregation will be held on April 5th to allow for discussion prior to the Special Meeting. The full texts of the motions for amendment, and a “redline” version of the Constitution showing the changes, are linked below. Please note that the page numbers in the Table of Contents do not match the page numbers in this version of the text. This is because we are showing the old text as well as the proposed new text in the same document, resulting in a longer document that does not have the correct pagination.
