egalitarian film “The Ties that Bind” and
providing the opportunity for students and adults to “try on” the practice of Tefillin. Men’s Club will provide a snack for all participants.

Well, back by popular demand, is the time for the Whooping Cranes tour, led by local ornithologist and birding guide, yours truly, Earl Spielman. For the new to birding, this event takes place in the Rockport/Fulton Texas area, about 25 miles from Corpus Christi, Texas. We will be taking a fairly large excursion tour boat out of Fulton harbor, which seats 46 plus her crew, to get up close and personal with this largest North American and most endangered bird. Men's Club Hot Breakfast with a program called "Bipartisan Election Update." We'll have some Democrats and some Republicans and Mike Engelhart will moderate. Mike will give them questions ahead of time and we'll have about 45 minutes of discussion about the state of local and national politics, the issues and races on the local and national ballots, what we can expect, and what to look for on election night.
We'll have time for questions as well.

Please mark your calendars! The annual Kosher Chili Cookoff will be held from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 28, at the ERJCC. Brith Shalom will once again field a creative team in hopes of garnering first place. Come join fellow congregants and members of the Houston Jewish community to feast on some delicious chili, enjoy liquid refreshments, entertainment, and good old-fashioned camaraderie. You can also have your picture taken on the Brith Shalom bull.
Join the Men's Club after their monthly breakfast to take down the Sukkah decorations.
Come help the Men's Club pick up chairs and replace books in the sanctuary.
