Rhoda Goldberg retired in 2013 as the director of the Harris County Public Library. Since then she has spent her time volunteering, taking classes, traveling, and catching up on her reading. Her major volunteer activities are at CBS, Holocaust Museum Houston, and at Planned Parenthood. She is also involved in advocacy work for the Texas State Library and Archives Commission. She currently serves on the Executive Committee as a Vice President and has also served as secretary and as an advisor. She is on the Adult Education Committee and also helps coordinate Shabbat services, High Holiday services, the Book of Remembrance, and weekly tributes.
