HAZAK is USY for Mature Adults!

Putting the Hebrew letters together, spells HAZAK, a word that means Strength in English. We think that this is very appropriate for our group!

We are proud that the HAZAK chapter at Congregation Brith Shalom is the first chapter of its kind in Houston to be affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.

CBS HAZAK provides programming for our 55+ age population. We meet monthly to provide:

• Get togethers for movies, plays, and dinners
• Holiday celebrations
• Cultural and educational programs
• Trips to area points of interest
• and more ... you tell us what you want us to provide. We'll do our best pto meet your expectations.

Joining our HAZAK group is easy. Download the registration form and send it together with your dues (currently $12 for members and $18 for associate members) made payable to CBS HAZAK to:

Note: Because our finances are separate from those of the synagogue, all checks must be sent to our treasurer, Julian Schneider. Please download and complete a separate registration form for each member of your household joining CBS HAZAK.

CBS HAZAK sends out periodic information about our events in an email.
